Able to swiftly transition on and off track, the CRAB’s small dimensions and tight turning radius make them able to traverse narrow aisles easily, while eliminating emissions and reducing noise.
2100E & 3100E
Light Electric Shunt Vehicle
The middle of the CRAB range, 2100 E and 3100 E these electric shunt vehicles offer a step up in performance over the 1500/1800E models. With towing capacity up to 730t these vehicles offer a great balance of shunting performance while still maintaining compact dimensions and great turning ability.
The CRAB 2100E and 3100E come with an operator’s cabin, offering better flexibility to operate outdoors, and enhanced comfort for the operator.
These models of rail shunting equipment are currently utilised at various locations within Australia as shunt and vehicle placers, locomotive shunting and in lieu of progression systems.
