ASU-600 Series
Continuous Flow Air Starter
The ASU-600 Series is a line of truck or trailer mounted continuous flow jet engine starting units, producing 100-400 ppm of airflow at up to 40 psig pressure.
Major components include an air-cooled rotary screw compressor, the latest emissions compliant diesel engine and a proven ACE air regulating system. Standard features include three modes of operation; Air pacs, jet start and hangar modes with independently adjustable supply pressures; automatic throttle roll-back and an easy access canopy mounted on a rugged, galvanised steel chassis. These components and features combine to produce one of the most versatile and cost efficient air start units on the market today.

ACE-500
500 Series – Stored Air Starter
TLD ACE-500 Series Pneumatic Jet Engine Start Units provide medium pressure air sources for jet aircraft engine starting. Start air pressures are adjustable to 45 PSIG at 0-300 lbs/min. air flow to start all types of jet aircraft engines. The units are available in a variety of sizes and configurations to meet individual customer requirements – based on aircraft to be serviced and frequency of utilization.
These self-recharging stored-air units are supplied complete with a properly rated piston-type compressor, ASME cylinder, customer selected power source and mounting (truck/trailer/stationery pedestal). A major component is the ACE-developed “soft-start” regulator control valve, which controls air pressures delivered to the engine in accordance with the engine manufacturer’s specifications.
