TLD Electric Towbarless Tractor Demo Units Now Available in Australia

Freightquip has confirmed the arrival of TLD TPX electric towbarless tractor demo units in Australia, giving local airport operators the opportunity to trial the technology before committing to a fleet purchase.

As the exclusive TLD distributor in Oceania, Freightquip is making the fully electric TPX series available for on-site demonstration across Australian airports. The TPX electric range supports pushback operations for narrow to wide-body aircraft with zero tailpipe emissions, high-torque AC/DC drive systems, and faster aircraft turnaround times.

With Australian airports under increasing pressure to meet emissions reduction targets and electrify ground operations, the availability of demo units gives operators a practical way to assess the technology against their own ramp conditions and operational requirements.
