Towlifters
Freightquip supplies Towlifters manufactured by Novatech for site-transport of containers. The Towlifter can lift loaded containers on and off semi-trailers, enter buildings through Transport-height (4,300mm) doorways and double-stack containers for efficient use of land space. Towlifters are fitted with disc brakes, reversing camera, work lights and rear signal lighting and can be controlled from the Terminal Tractor cabin. Optionally – the Towlifter can be designed so that it can be operated behind a standard Prime Mover with hydraulics, however double-stacking of containers is not possible for this version.
Technical Overview:
Towlifters are low-profile trailer with reinforced steel frames and independent lifting wheels. Gross lift capacities of the Towlifter is 36 Tonne and suitable for driving speeds up to 40 km/h.
