Freightquip Supports Delivery of New BioWash Facility at South Dynon

Freightquip is proud to have supported the delivery of the new BioWash facility at South Dynon Train Maintenance Facility in Victoria, supplying and installing key equipment as part of the State Government’s $322 million facility upgrade.

The new BioWash facility services V/Line’s regional train fleet, reducing the time required to clean rolling stock following animal strikes and getting trains back into passenger service faster. It forms part of a broader Stage 2 upgrade that includes a new wastewater treatment plant, upgraded train wash and refuelling infrastructure, and track reconfiguration.

Freightquip’s involvement is a further example of the company’s role in supporting the maintenance infrastructure that keeps Australia’s rail networks running. From equipment supply and installation through to ongoing technical support, Freightquip works alongside operators to ensure critical rail facilities meet the demands placed on them.
